From Your Flock to Your Creations
Small-batch fleece processing, hand spinning, fibre kits and clear, practical support for people working with sheep, alpaca and natural fibres.
ADHCrafts is run by me, Vanessa, a neurodivergent fibre artist and sole trader based in West Devon, working across South West England.
I provide small-batch fleece processing, hand spinning, fibre preparation and accessible learning resources for people who want to understand, value and use the fibre from their animals.
My work brings together traditional fibre skills, animal welfare, provenance, British wool, sustainability and neurodivergent-friendly teaching. I care about making fibre processing feel less overwhelming, especially for small flock owners, alpaca owners, beginner fibre crafters and people who are emotionally connected to their animals’ fleece.
ADHCrafts is built around careful processing, honest guidance and the belief that fibre has a story long before it becomes yarn.

Why ADHCrafts:
Fibre processing with clear steps and no silly questions
ADHCrafts offers small-batch fibre support with a calm, practical approach. You do not need to know all the correct terms before getting in touch — if you have fleece and feel unsure, choose “help me decide” and we can work through the next step together.
- Small-batch fleece and fibre processing
- Clear explanations for beginners
- Fibre assessed before work begins
- Your fibre kept labelled and separate unless a blend is agreed

Not sure what your fleece can become?
Every fleece is different. Some are perfect for spinning, some are better as batts or felting fibre, and some may be more suitable for stuffing, garden use or creative texture. ADHCrafts can help you understand what you have and choose a realistic next step.

Please don’t send fibre yet
Please do not post or drop off fibre until your booking has been confirmed. This helps keep every batch labelled, dry, separate and safe.

Guides, kits and calm fibre support
ADHCrafts guides and kits are created to make fibre crafts feel more manageable. Expect clear steps, with practical explanations, pause points and beginner-friendly support for drop spinning, washing fleece and fibre preparation.

Fleece Washing Guide
A clear, practical guide to washing raw sheep fleece at home using simple tools, gentle handling and realistic pause points. Designed for beginners, this guide breaks the process into manageable steps so you can work with your energy levels, avoid overwhelm, and understand how to care for fleece without rushing. Ideal for anyone starting their fibre journey with locally sourced or small-batch wool

Drop Spindle Kit
A beginner-friendly drop spindle kit designed to help you start spinning at a calm, manageable pace. Each kit includes hand-processed fibre, a Heidifeathers spindle, and a printed ADHCrafts drop spindle guide with clear steps, glossary support and project tracking pages. Written with neurodivergent makers and energy pacing in mind, this kit is ideal for learning slowly, experimenting with different fibres, and building confidence one small step at a time.

Needle-Felting Kit
A complete needle felting kit for creating two mushrooms: one mini and one standard size. The kit includes fibre, three felting needles, a handmade felting pad, and a detailed 45-page guide written to be neurodivergent and dyslexic friendly. With clear instructions, steady step-by-step support and plenty of guidance, this kit is designed to help beginners build confidence while creating a cosy woodland-inspired project.

Who is ADHCrafts
Built around fibre, accessibility and thoughtful making
ADHCrafts grew from a love of fibre, learning and finding more accessible ways to create. The business focuses on sustainable fibre use, local and traceable materials where possible, and supportive ways of working that make space for different energy levels, learning styles and creative goals.
How ADHCrafts uses AI
ADHCrafts uses AI as a support tool for planning, drafting, accessibility, admin and visual concept development. It helps me organise ideas, reduce overwhelm and manage the many tasks involved in running a small business as a neurodivergent sole trader with chronic health conditions.
AI does not replace my fibre skills, handmade work, judgement or customer care. Fibre assessment, processing, spinning, making, customer decisions and final quality checks are carried out by me. AI-assisted content is reviewed and edited before use, and I do not use AI to invent provenance, replace consent or make false claims
